DowningHouse Designs was created in 2016 when I began making jewelry pieces at my house [wahlah…DowningHouse!].

My love affair with jewelry design/making began with resin, beads, and bullets [yes…bullets!] Hand-stamping added messages and purpose to some of the pieces, so it became a mainstay and the bulk of my pieces.

There’s something about jewelry that sends a message about the person wearing it.  Especially pieces that make it possible to wear YOUR message! Whether it’s inspiration, a favorite sports team, a scripture, a mantra, a shared meaning with another, a special date, a special place, a memorial, or a simple design, you or the recipient can feel the message and wear it! My mission is to create pieces that have meaning and purpose for those wearing them. So far, you, my customers, confirm that my mission is being realized each day. I love what I do and will continue as long as you have a message to wear!
